THE BARCAMP
We warmly invite everyone interested to the Futures in Education Barcamp, which will take place on 31.01.2026 at Ricarda-Huch-Schule in Dreieich. We will spend a day with exciting discussions and consider how we can shape education at our schools in the future. The Barcamp is open to everyone interested, but is primarily aimed at teachers, students, and education experts.
FUTURES IN EDUCATION BARCAMP
The Futures in Education Barcamp is an international barcamp held in two languages (German and English). We expect around 120 participants, including teachers and students from Portugal and Sweden, who will give the barcamp an international perspective. Among other things, we will have topics such as dealing with artificial intelligence (AI) in schools or the use of games in education and many more topics on the agenda. In typical barcamp fashion, we also welcome topic suggestions. In addition to the barcamp itself we will have an optional Come Together on Friday, 30.01.2026. More information about the Come Together will be provided soon.
On the evening before the BarCamp, an informal meeting of the participants will take place in the early evening. This will give everyone the opportunity to meet and chat in person before the BarCamp the next day. This will allow participants to discuss session ideas in more depth or develop new ones. The get-together is scheduled to take place from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the RHS. Participants are asked to indicate on their registration form whether they will be attending on Friday evening so that the provision of drinks can be coordinated.
Please register if you would like to participate in the barcamp. Food and drinks are provided so you can fully focus on discussing exciting topics in modern education, meeting interesting people, being inspired by new ideas, and helping to shape new approaches and solutions.
